midget boys WON the CWOSSA rugby championship yesterday outscoring their opponents 74-12. Tries were scored by Dean Henderson, Jamaal Jones-Peters, Liam Buckley, Ethan Ferguson, Cullen Fawcett and Tristan Almas. Converts were made by Liam Bielawski and Taylor Richardson. WAY TO GO BOYS!!
Wednesday May 18, 2011 - BCI BCSSAA Champions
The midget boys won the city championship last night defeating St. John's 34-10. Tristan Almas led the scoring with 3 tries while Jamaal Jones-Peters, Austen Jones, and Ethan Ferguson scored 1 each. Taylor Richardson kicked 2 converts. Anthony Suderman, Josh Thompson, Dylan Hines, Alex Chan, and Liam Buckley played well. Way to go Boys!!!
Thursday May 5, 2011 - Guelph Tournament
The midget boys rugby team travelled to Guelph yesterday winning all 3 games and the tournament title. BCI scored a total of 92 points and didn't allow a single point scored against them. Try scorers for the day were: Ethan Ferguson 4, Tristan Almas 4, Liam Buckley 2, Jamal Jones-Peters 2, Alex Chan 2, Austen Jones 1, and Cullen Fawcett 1. Liam Bielawski kicked 4 converts and Taylor Richardson kicked 2. Josh Thompson, DJ Morrison, Dean Henderson, and Ryan Allen played well.
Tuesday May 3, 2011 - BCI vs NorthPark CI
The midget boys rugby team continued their winning streak defeating North Park last night 40-5. Ethan Ferguson and Jamal Jones-Peters were outstanding with 3 tries each. Cullen Fawcett scored 1 try and had many long runs. Austen Jones scored 1 try as well and led the forwards with lots of steals. Vinnie Prior, Anthony Suderman, Josh Thompson, Liam Bielawski, and Dean Henderson played well.

The midget boys rugby team travelled to Saltfleet High School yesterday and won all 4 matches, bringing home the tournament championship. BCI defeated Saltfleet, Oakville- Trafalgar, Erin, and Bradford on the way to the championship. Cullen Fawcett led the way with 5 tries, Tristan Almas scored 4 tries, Austen Jones was outstanding with 4 tries, Liam Buckley had 2 tries, and Alex Chan and Josh Thompson scored 1 each. Anthony Suderman and Khadar Reid ran and tackled hard. Dean Henderson and Taylor Richardson moved the ball well and played solid defense. Way to go guys!!
