BCI vs PJC - December 1, 2011

The Jr. Colts lost a close game to St John's last night in the first regular season game by a score of 52-38. The Colts were leading the game most of the first half, but turnovers killed them in the second half as St. John's grew their lead. Leading the way for the Colts on offense was Noel Bomberry who shot the ball well and scored 10 points. Tristan Almas played great defense and scored 8 while Conner Loder did a great job handling the ball and contributed with 8 points himself.



 

BCI vs ACS - December 6, 2011

The Jr. Colts basketball team lost their second game of the season 53-44 to Assumption. The Colts lead the Lions the entire game, but things went downhill quickly in the 4th quarter. The Colts were lead in scoring by both Jamaal Jones-Peters and Austin Jones with 11 points and Tristan Almas added 9. The Colts look to recover on Thursday at home against Paris at 7.



 

BCI vs NPC - December 13, 2011

The Jr. Colts basketball team lost a tough game against North Park last night 52-31. Tristan Almas lead BCI on both ends of the floor with great hustle and scored 13 points. Noel Bomberry chipped in 5 points and Liam Bielawski played a solid game on both ends of the floor. The Colts play this Thursday at 7pm against PJ. Come out and support your basketball teams!



 

BCI vs PJC - December 15, 2011

The Jr. Boys basketball team won a very close game with PJ last night 48-47. Tristan Almas led the Colts in scoring with a career high 20 points and registered 8 steals on the night. Noel Bomberry chipped in 10 points and recored 7 rebounds. Jamaal Jones-Peters, despite some foul trouble, led BCI on defense with many steals leading to easy buckets. The Colts are now 2-3 and face SJC in the last game of 2011 on Tuesday.



 

BCI vs ACS - January 10, 2012

The Colts basketball team were unsuccessful in their first game of 2012 losing to assumption 56-36. The point difference was surprising, as the Colts were up 4 points at half time and held Assumption to 19 first half points. Tristan Almas lead the Colts in scoring with 11 points. Noel Bomberry added 8 points and 7 rebounds. Liam Bielwaski scored 5 before leaving the game in the 3rd quarter with injury. The Colts look to rebound this Thursday at Paris.



 

BCI vs PDHS - January 12, 2012

The Colts basketball team were dominant on Thursday evening beating Paris 54-30. The Colts were lead by a strong press in the first quarter that gave them a 21-3 lead. 11 of the 13 colts scored in the game. Tristan Almas and Jamaal Jones Peters were outstanding on both ends of the floor both scoring 10 points and recording 6 steals. Noel Bomberry chipped in with 8 points and 6 rebounds.



 

BCI vs NPC - January 17, 2012

The JR Colts lost to NPC 54-22. Austen Jones played one of his best games of the year, crashing the boards hard, getting the free throw line and scoring six points. All of this while setting a BCI Jr. record in fouling out in his tenth game of the year. Noel Bomberry lead BCI with six points. The next game at PJ on Thursday night.



 

BCI vs PJC - January 19, 2012

The JR Colts played a great second half to put away Pauline Johnson and solidify a playoff game for the first round of the playoffs. The final score was 47-30. Tristan Almas recorded his first double-double recording 17 points and 11 steals. Noel Bomberry was awesome in the second half scoring 12 of his 14 points in the second frame. Both Austen Jones and Jamaal Jones-Peters picked up their defense and lead several fast break baskets. The Colts will play PJ again in the ¼ finals after the exam break.



 

BCI Tournament - Feb 4, 2012

The BCI Jr. Colts basketball team took part in the 1st annual Simcoe Composite Jr basketball tournament over the weekend. The tournament was a 5 team round robin. BCI finished the tournament 4-0 bringing home the championship.

BCI vs PJC - Feb 7, 2012

The Jr Colts played their best game of the year beating PJ by a score of 65-31.
The Colts truely had a team effort that saw them score an amazing 43 first half points. Tristan Almas lead all scorers with 18, Jamaal Jones-Peters scored 12 and Noel Bomberry added 9. Austen Jones rebounded the ball well, Conner Loder played a great game at point while Liam Bielawski hit some clutch shots and Adam Bakker gave some solid minutes off the bench. The Colts now play in the semis on Thursday at North Park at 6:30.



BCI vs NPC - Feb 9, 2012

The Jr Colts basketball team's run at a Brant County title came to an end on Thursday with a 57-38 loss to North Park. The Colts played a great first half, taking the lead for the majority of the second quarter. Fouls began to get the Colts in trouble and they saw the lead slip away. Noel Bomberry had a great game rebounding and lead BCI scorers with 10. Liam Bielawski shot the ball well and scored 9. Tristan Almas had a few steals and put in 8. The Colts season is not done as they will play Holy Trinity to advance to CWOSSA
