National French Immersion Competition Winners
Four of BCI’s French Immersion students are national winners of 2012 National French Immersion Video clip Competition sponsored by ACPI (Association Canadienne des Professeurs d'Immersion) and the University of Ottawa. Nikolai Jakub placed first and won a $12,000 bursary (tied with Will Beh from Coquitlam B.C.); Leah Trottier, Fiona Flynn and Stephanie Johnston placed 3rd and won bursaries of $4000 each for their individual videos on “la démocratie essentielle”.

Gold and Silver Medal Winners!
BCI Junior Band members travelled to Ottawa to
perform in The National Music Fest of Canada
at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
Their performance earned
them a GOLD Medal!
